This interactive workshop is designed for HR professionals who are new to AI or just beginning to explore its potential. Across the day, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, can deliver real efficiency and value to your HR function.
You’ll learn how to identify the best early-use cases for AI, craft effective prompts that generate useful results, and build your first Copilot GPT tailored to your team’s needs. Delegates are encouraged, though not required, to bring their laptops to take part in hands-on exercises using Copilot. There will be opportunities to experiment, build, and refine live projects during the session—either individually or in small teams.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your individual 30-day action plan, renewed confidence in using AI personally, and the foundations to build understanding and adoption across your wider HR team.

- Risks and opportunities: efficiency vs ethical concerns.

Microsoft Copilot live examples
Overview of Copilot across Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Live examples of the following key HR use cases:
- Writing and improving job adverts.
- Drafting policies and employee communications.
- Analysing HR data and reporting in Excel.
- Preparing presentations for leadership in PowerPoint.
- Managing meeting notes, actions, and policies in Teams.
