After more than 12 brilliant years leading our product strategy and development, our Head of Product Lester has officially handed over the reins.

Lester played a huge role in shaping the hireful ATS into what it is today — a platform that’s not just powerful, but genuinely user-friendly, responsive to feedback, and constantly evolving.

He’s been a familiar face at hireful HQ for over a decade, always ready with a brilliant idea, an obscure fact, or a quick-witted joke. Those who’ve worked closely with him describe him as funny, approachable, and incredibly sharp — someone who genuinely cares about the product, our customers, and the business as a whole. He’s been known to throw himself into all sorts of team activities, and always brought warmth and honesty to everything he did.

We’re sad to see him go, but incredibly grateful for everything he’s done.

Now, we’re excited to welcome Josh Pickersgill, who has joined the team as Senior Product Manager.

Josh’s background is a great match for hireful. He started his career as a recruiter — so he knows the pain points and pressures our customers face — and later moved into the world of product development in the HR tech world.

He’s now diving into our platform with fresh ideas and energy, and is already working on improvements to make our customers’ hiring journeys even smoother.

This change marks a new chapter for hireful, but one that comes with lots of new ideas, and exciting developments ahead.

Josh has spent time alongside Lester getting up to speed, learning the ins and outs of our product, our customers, and our culture — so we can continue to deliver the kind of thoughtful, user-focused development our customers expect from us.
